Our expert team supports Defense, Intelligence Community, and National Security customers by helping them acquire, manage, analyze, and improve mission-focused technology, data, and business capabilities.

We are seeking a Data Analyst - GEOINT Technical SME - Mid to support geospatial intelligence, business analytics, data visualization, and mission data management activities. This role is ideal for a cleared data professional with experience applying data analytics, GEOINT tools, scripting, and visualization techniques to support decision-making, improve business processes, and deliver actionable insights to mission stakeholders.

About the Work

The Data Analyst - GEOINT Technical SME - Mid will support data analysis, model development, dashboarding, metrics reporting, and data-driven business process improvement. The role involves working with stakeholders, project managers, and subject matter experts to clarify business needs, analyze data from multiple sources, develop visual products, support analytic tools, and help improve organizational performance.

This position requires the ability to transform quantitative and qualitative data into clear, useful, and mission-relevant insights. The candidate should be comfortable working in classified environments, supporting Intelligence Community stakeholders, and using data tools to improve understanding of mission, operational, business, and technical issues.

Your Duties

  • Develop data analytics, dashboards, reports, charts, graphs, and other visualizations using industry-standard data analysis and data science practices.
  • Transform complex data sets from multiple sources into understandable visual products that support leadership, mission, and business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project requestors, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project managers to refine requirements and clarify business objectives.
  • Use data analytics to identify issues, draw logical conclusions, form business insights, and recommend ways to improve organizational performance and efficiency.
  • Support the development, integration, maintenance, and sustainment of analytic models, visualizations, and tools.
  • Support risk scoring, anomaly detection, performance monitoring, metrics tracking, and related data analysis implementations as required.
  • Capture, maintain, and analyze statistics, timelines, system performance data, and other operational metrics.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, dashboards, and visual summaries for internal teams, technical stakeholders, and leadership audiences.
  • Support policy, process, and business operations activities by contributing data analysis, technical editing, documentation, and reporting support.
  • Use scripting and automation techniques to manipulate, analyze, clean, transform, or visualize data as needed.
  • Support geospatial data analysis and related GEOINT mission activities using applicable tools, data sets, and technical methods.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and short suspense timelines.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Top Secret / SCI security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Geography, Geospatial Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 6 or more years of relevant experience developing data analytics, visualizations, analytic models, dashboards, or data-driven business products.
  • Demonstrated experience using data to form business insights, draw logical conclusions, and support performance-improving strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with stakeholders to clarify project needs, business objectives, data requirements, and analytical questions.
  • Experience creating and editing visual content such as charts, graphs, dashboards, and briefing materials to represent data clearly.
  • At least 12 months of demonstrated experience using one or more geospatial or GEOINT-related tools such as ArcGIS, ArcView, RemoteView, ArcIMS, ERDAS Imagine, or similar geospatial analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated coding or scripting experience using tools such as Python, Java, or similar languages to support data manipulation, analysis, automation, or visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to use SharePoint, Tableau, Redmine, databases, or other systems to manipulate data, manage information, and build data visualizations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented mission environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting GEOINT, Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or national security missions.
  • Experience supporting insider threat, risk scoring, anomaly detection, or similar security-focused analytics programs.
  • Experience with policy development, process improvement, business operations, or performance management initiatives.
  • Experience with GEOINT analysis software, NGA mission applications, geospatial data sets, or mission reporting tools.
  • Experience using Tableau, Python, SQL, GIS tools, SharePoint, or other business intelligence and data visualization platforms.
  • Experience preparing executive-level briefings, technical reports, dashboards, and visual summaries for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with data quality analysis, data cleansing, data transformation, and data integration across multiple sources.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in support of Federal, Defense, Intelligence Community, and national security missions.
  • Work may be performed in classified environments and requires compliance with applicable security, information handling, and customer site requirements.
  • Normal work hours are generally Monday through Friday during standard business hours, unless otherwise required by mission needs.
