Responsibilities

A Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for leading and coordinating complex technical projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to handle the development, implementation, and optimization of telecom systems and infrastructure. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible to support all aspect regarding the technical operations for the team. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Here are some key responsibilities and aspects for this role:

  • Responsible for the technical management of the project’s ensuring the quality and project scheduling constraints are adhered to.
  • Responsible to align the project with the overall Unit roadmap, constraints and plans.
  • Working with product for prioritizing tasks and resolves issues/conflicts.
  • Oversee and track the releases and project's closure, integrating all relevant components  (e.g., lesson learned, KPIs...).
  • In charge of automation of the project to be able to improve the quality and project speed.
  • Promotes cross-divisional communication, strategy, and tactical planning to maximize revenue generation.
  • Build and manage an effective and engaged multi-disciplinary project team and processes to ensure efficient project delivery, usually in a matrix manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering or Information Technology, is strongly preferred.  Or a Master’s Degree (Optional but Beneficial) in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management or Telecommunications.

Certifications, strongly preferred

  1. Project Management Certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO):
  2. Telecommunications-Specific Certifications:
    • Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network

             Professional (CCNP)

  • CompTIA Network+
  • 6-8 years of experience in technical management domain, with at least 4 years hands on experience in leading at least one of the project management aspects, such as: schedule, budget, resources, risks, etc.
  • Experience in the relevant wireless telecom domain and general knowledge in relevant areas such as SW development, delivery, testing, etc.
  • Managerial experience (direct or matrix)
  • In-depth applied knowledge of standard program/project management concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to travel and work in the field if needed.
