Chief Genomics Officer 

University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Cleveland, Ohio

Lead the Future of Precision Medicine

University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine invite applications for the position of Chief Genomics Officer (CGO).

This is a unique opportunity for a visionary physician-scientist and genomics leader to shape and expand a system-wide strategy for precision medicine, genomic discovery, and translational innovation across one of the nation's leading academic health systems.

The Chief Genomics Officer will provide executive leadership for genomic medicine initiatives, driving the integration of cutting-edge genomic technologies into clinical care, research, education, and population health. This leader will collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders across University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University to advance transformational programs that improve patient outcomes through personalized medicine.

Academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor will be offered commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

  • Support and mentor faculty, trainees, and emerging leaders in genomic medicine.
  • Drive innovative research programs with opportunities for federal, industry, and philanthropic funding.
 Clinical Impact
  • Advance integration of genomic testing into clinical workflows across University Hospitals.
  • Partner with physicians, genetic counselors, bioinformaticians, laboratory scientists, and operational leaders to deliver best-in-class patient care.
