We are looking for a highly motivated Technician I, Sequencing to join our team!
This opportunity is an onsite full-time Friday-Monday (4 days x 10 hours) contracting position based in our Fremont, CA office.
How You'll Contribute
  • Follow lab protocols and procedures to operate development systems and deliver test results
  • Manage shared laboratory equipment and ensure equipment is up to date with calibration and maintenance procedures
  • Analyze quality control metrics for instrument runs and prepare data sets for analysis
  • Document and escalate issues identified through the course of testing development instrumentation
  • Work closely with Systems Engineering and Development groups to verify and validate product operational and performance requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Minimum AA/AS in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or closely related field
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Wet lab and intensive pipetting experience is a plus
  • Meticulous and detail oriented, ability to follow complex operating procedures (SOPs) with reproducible results and thorough documentation of work
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary team

This contracting position offers an hourly pay rate between $25/hourand $27/hour, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
