Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington is seeking a Full-Time Molecular Pathologist to join our growing team.
The Molecular Pathologist will work within an integrated molecular diagnostics and genomics program supporting the Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program (BMAP) and the Nemours Genomics Laboratory. In addition to providing clinical interpretation of diagnostic assays, the Molecular Pathologist will oversee the development, validation, implementation, and quality management of molecular diagnostic testing, including next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based exome, genome, and targeted panel assays, as well as emerging molecular and genomic technologies.
This role is central to establishing compliant, high-quality molecular diagnostic services for pediatric patients while supporting innovative translational research initiatives. Responsibilities include in-house assay design, clinical validation, regulatory compliance, quality program oversight, policy and procedure development, and close collaboration with pathology, clinical, research, and bioinformatics teams in alignment with CAP and CLIA standards.
