• Interpret sequencing and molecular data (PCR, dPCR, metagenomics) • Provide biological context to genomic surveillance outputs • Identify variants, mutations, and signals of public health relevance • Familiarity with sequencing outputs (e.g., variant calls, lineage assignments, coverage metrics) Collaboration & Coordination
• Partner with laboratory teams and bioinformaticians • Support coordination with external labs and partners • Translate lab outputs into actionable insights • Experience working with cross-functional teams in public health or research environments Program Support
• Contribute to reports, briefings, and technical documentation • Support pilot studies and surveillance enhancements Bioinformatics Support II - Molecular Virology & Surveillance Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: • Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Microbiology, or related field • Experience with sequencing workflows and molecular data • Familiarity with environmental or wastewater datasets • Strong communication and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and resolve problems without constant supervision
