The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks of the RTP Logistics Department. Ensuring the timely shipping of products to customers and the organization and distribution of all incoming material for the facility.
This position reports to the Manager of Integrated Supply Chain and is part of the Logistics Department located in Morrisville, NC and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Supervises and directs staff which would include employee hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline.
  • Perform approval and tracking of time off requests and time sheets to ensure a successful planning of resources
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing packages are processed according to IDT standards.
  • Assist with coordination of material transfers between IDT locations.
  • Maintains inventory control via regular inventory counts
  • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
  • Individual must have strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Ability to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Using SAP
