Job Title: Genomics Sales Representatives

Location: Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR or Seattle, WA preferred)

Role Summary

The Account Executive - Genomics & Rare Disease will be responsible for driving regional growth and expanding market presence across the Pacific Northwest. This position focuses on strategic engagement with pediatric hospitals, academic medical centers, and healthcare systems, promoting advanced genomic testing solutions that enable earlier and more accurate diagnosis of rare diseases.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, this individual will develop and execute a comprehensive regional business plan, analyze sales performance, manage forecasting through CRM systems, and serve as a trusted scientific and commercial resource to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, hospital administrators, and key decision-makers.
  • Use a consultative, science-driven sales approach to position genomic testing solutions.
  • Conduct market analysis and share insights on trends, competition, and emerging opportunities.
  • Manage territory data, pipeline, and forecasting within Salesforce CRM.
  • Deliver engaging scientific presentations, webinars, and product demonstrations to clinical audiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical affairs, and operations to support customer success.
  • Provide field intelligence and feedback to inform product development and market strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences (Genetics, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field).
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in clinical genomics, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine.
  • Proven track record selling into pediatric hospitals or academic medical centers.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and a data-driven approach to territory management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and own regional strategy.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
