About this position

Performs data entry, basic computer operations, specimen collection, processing, and basic laboratory procedures.

Requirements

Education

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.   

Experience

Completion of an accredited program for Medical Laboratory Assistants or Medical Assistants.
OR
Minimum of one year current laboratory experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
OR
Completion of a course in medical terminology and at least two semesters of college level biology and/or chemistry.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments  

Licensure/Certification

Salary Range: S13 ($19.65 - $27.52), based on experience  

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
