Job Summary

Summary
Performs a variety of clerical and technical duties under general supervision. Reports to a Laboratory Supervisor. Responsibilities include receipt, accessioning, centrifugation and decanting of patient specimens, and communicating with clinicians at the Front Window and over the phone.

Essential Functions
- Assist with labeling, preservation and fixation of specimens.
- Work closely with technologists to ensure specimens are processed timely and accurately.
- Monitor reagent and supply inventory.
- Organize patient specimen and assay worksheets/printouts for testing and technologist review.
- Use LIMS to upload documents and input critical data or comments.
- Clean and maintain lab equipment.
