Genetics Assistants are professionals who support genetic counselors, clinical geneticists, and other healthcare providers with administrative, laboratory, and patient care tasks related to genetics. They help collect patient histories, organize genetic testing samples and documentation, and communicate information to patients and providers. Genetics Assistants also assist in scheduling, data entry, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
