Job Duties: Diagnose and treat genetic disorders in pediatric patients. Interpret genetic testing results and design personalized treatment plans. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patients family concerning treatment and care of patients.

Geographic area of employment: New Orleans, LA, Frequent travel to worksites in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
Education Required: M.D. or D.O.
Other Requirements:
  • License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
  • Completion of a medical genetics residency.
