What You'll Do

As Administrative Assistant you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the OASAS-funded FORGE program. This position supports scheduling, communications, recordkeeping, meeting logistics, document management, and routine office coordination to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

FORGE (Fostering Opportunities, Resilience, Growth and Employment) is a technical assistance program intended to support Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors in delivering job opportunities and support for people recovering from substance use disorder. FORGE provides job coaching, training to Vocational Rehabilitation counselors, and develops relationships with employers to generate viable, recovery-friendly employment opportunities for participants. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the OASAS-funded program.

  • Support scheduling, communications, and routine office coordination.

  • Assist with day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficient program functioning.

Records & Document Management

  • Maintain program records, files, and documentation.

  • Support recordkeeping and document management processes in accordance with program requirements.

Meeting & Event Coordination

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and communication with participants.

  • Support internal and external meetings and other program-related events as needed.

Office Operations & Program Coordination

  • Facilitate smooth day-to-day office operations.

  • Provide operational support to program staff and leadership to ensure effective implementation of program activities.

You're a great fit for this position if you have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • At least two (2) years of administrative support experience.

  • Experience in nonprofit, workforce, health, behavioral health, or human services settings preferred.
