• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health concerns and formulate effective treatment plans based on their individual needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to deliver tailored individual therapy sessions.
• Set therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, ensuring a client-centered approach to treatment, and regularly monitor their progress to adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy services to clients who prefer virtual sessions or face accessibility challenges, maintaining flexibility to accommodate their circumstances.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and peer consultation to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed about the latest practices in mental health counseling.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Genesis Health Care Inc., you will be working primarily with adult clients who may be experiencing a range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to help clients build coping strategies, improve their mental well-being, and achieve their personal goals through evidence-based treatment.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• A compassionate demeanor reflecting empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward various life experiences and challenges faced by clients.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities for managing a diverse caseload and maintaining administrative responsibilities.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competence in therapeutic settings.
• Knowledge of telehealth technologies and best practices for delivering remote therapy services.
• Previous involvement in team-based care models and willingness to collaborate with other professionals for holistic client support.

• Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
