This seasonal position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pool and providing a safe environment to swim, learn, and play! 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain constant watch of the water and pool area
  • Enforce rules and procedures
  • Keep pool and pool area clean and safe
  • Use equipment as assigned
  • Help record/maintain pool chemical readings
  • Open and close pool
  • Quickly perform and demonstrate emergency procedures
  • Maintain equipment, pool and equipment storage areas
Expectations:

  • Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs
  • Engage in actions that positively impact the member experience
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries
Job Requirements: 
  • Lifeguard Certification
  • Available to work summer weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Must hold current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
