  • Location: South Florida
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

  • Project Scope: High-Capacity Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Generator Systems ($\le 2000\text{ kW}$).
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.

The Opportunity

You will step into a premier field leadership role as a master-level technical expert, managing complex electrical diagnostics and load bank testing parameters for large-scale backup power networks. This position grants you complete field autonomy to troubleshoot mission-critical industrial assets exceeding $2000\text{ kW}$ without corporate micromanagement. You will directly protect local grid infrastructure resilience while leading high-value emergency response operations across the Carolinas.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Perform advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics on industrial engines, power distribution arrays, and digital logic controllers.
  • Conduct complex load bank testing profiles, power factor calculations, and comprehensive new system commissioning sequences.
  • Execute high-level preventive and corrective maintenance overhauls on heavy standby power generators.
  • Mobilize rapidly for emergency field repairs, isolating critical systems failures during volatile after-hours outages.
  • Direct large-scale industrial equipment installations, structural engine rebuilds, and power generation asset retrofits.
  • Catalog precise, code-compliant field diagnostic documentation, part requests, and service logs within corporate software.
  • Mentor junior field technicians, translating master-level trade methodologies to cultivate an elite regional service unit.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of verified, hands-on field experience specializing in industrial generator service and maintenance.
  • Master-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities spanning industrial engine logic and transfer switches.
  • Solid technical proficiency servicing enterprise power platforms including Kohler, Generac, and Cummins/Onan infrastructure.
  • Active and valid driver's license backed by a clean personal driving record required to manage regional field dispatch loops.
  • Physical capacity to lift 50+ lbs regularly and navigate active industrial plant settings under varying climate conditions.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) Technician Certification or specialized OEM factory training credentials.
  • Non-expired EPA Section 608 Universal Certification necessary for managing specialized industrial engine cooling networks.
  • Extensive experience operating high-capacity load bank equipment and reading complex dual-voltage schematic designs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Premium hourly base pay ranging from $35.00 to $45.00+ scaled directly to heavy power generation trade mastery.
  • Comprehensive relocation assistance packages designed to facilitate a seamless transition
  • Robust travel per diem allocations covering all personal meals, regional lodging, and incidental field operational costs.
  • Elite schedule structure featuring a compressed 4-day work week to maximize personal rest and work-life balance.
  • Full health protection architecture including premium medical, dental, vision, life, and short/long-term disability insurance.
  • Generous paid leave benefits encompassing accrued vacation allotments, personal sick time, and recognized national holidays.
  • Provided company service vehicle, commercial gas card privileges, specialized field tools, and professional uniforms.
  • Enterprise technology package including a high-speed smartphone or digital tablet for real-time field documentation.
  • Fully funded manufacturer training courses, technical masterclasses, and a corporate referral recruitment bonus program.
