Job description

Job Requirements

Freedom Power was born when Freedom Solar and Freedom HVAC joined forces to become Texas's complete whole-house energy company. We don't just install equipment. We hand homeowners the keys to something bigger: control over their energy, their bills, and their future. We call it Energy Empowerment, and it's not a tagline — it's the reason we show up every day.

As a Generator Sales Consultant, you'll sit down with homeowners and help them see what's at stake when the grid goes down — then design a standby Generac system that means they never have to worry about it again. This isn't a hard sell. It's a real conversation about protecting a family's home, food, medical equipment, and peace of mind. You'll own the process start to finish: consultation, site assessment, proposal, and a handoff to our installation team that makes it real. As a Generac Platinum PWRPartner we receive leads directly from Generac as well as producing our own lead flow.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners interested in standby generators.
  • Perform site assessments to determine the right generator size and installation requirements.
  • Educate customers on backup power, outage preparedness, fuel options, and how their generator will actually work.
  • Present customized proposals using Freedom Power's proven sales process.
  • Walk customers through financing options, warranties, maintenance plans, and installation timelines.
  • Team up with engineering, permitting, operations, and installation to get every project done right.
  • Keep your CRM sharp — accurate customer records and pipeline activity, every time.
  • Follow up quickly and professionally and treat every question like it matters (because it does).
  • Earn referrals the old-fashioned way: by delivering an experience worth talking about.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of in-home sales experience
  • Previous generator sales experience is a must.
  • Experience selling HVAC, electrical, roofing, solar, or other residential home improvement products is a plus
  • Strong presentation, communication, and closing skills
  • Ability to break down technical concepts into simple, homeowner-friendly terms
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Availability to work evenings and Saturdays based on customer schedules

Benefits:

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Health Savings Account
  • Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance
  • 401(k) - Employer Matching
  • Paid Training and ongoing professional development
  • Company provided leads

**This job is with an independent Generac Channel Partner and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.

We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
