Preferred

  • Experience selling standby generators or backup power systems
  • Knowledge of diesel, natural gas, propane generators, and transfer switches
  • Existing relationships with contractors, builders, or facility managers

  • Generate new sales and build customer relationships
  • Assess customer power needs and recommend generator solutions
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Present products and explain features, warranties, and benefits
  • Coordinate with installation and service teams
  • Maintain CRM records and follow up with customers
  • Meet or exceed sales goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5+ years of sales experience (generator, electrical, HVAC, construction, or industrial equipment preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of generators and electrical systems
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Proficient with CRM and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
