What does a generative AI program manager do?

A Generative AI Program Manager oversees the planning, development, and implementation of projects that use AI models capable of generating content, such as text, images, or code. They coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and resources, and ensure that generative AI solutions align with business objectives and compliance standards. This role also involves stakeholder communication, risk management, and monitoring the ethical use of AI. Generative AI Program Managers often work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver innovative AI-driven products and services.

Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills help you coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
