Job Title : Visiting Faculty – CSE148 (Business Computing) Overview Department: Computer Science & Software Engineering, Miami University. Appointment for Fall 2026. Course taught in-person only. CSE148 provides students with foundational skills in business technology, including practical use of spreadsheets, data visualization, and introductory generative AI tools. The instructor will deliver high‐quality, engaging instruction, support student skill development, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities Teach all sections of CSE148 during the Fall 2026 semester. Develop and deliver course materials that emphasize hands‐on learning. Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners. Collaborate with department faculty on curriculum updates and improvement efforts. Qualifications Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five (5) years of significant professional experience working with relevant applications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
