Noticias Telemundo Network is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Designer to join our Miami, FL headquarters. This role is a key contributor to the News Graphics Design team, responsible for shaping the creative execution of broadcast, digital, and special project content.

The Senior Designer will play a critical role across live shows, breaking news, and high-priority Special projects, delivering high-impact graphics under tight deadlines. This position requires a strong understanding of the fast-paced news environment, including real-time production workflows and digital content demands.

This role operates within a 24/7 production environment, requiring flexibility in hours, including late nights and last-minute schedule changes. Close collaboration with the Creative Director and News leadership is essential to ensure creative alignment, consistency, and innovation across all platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality design, creative alignment, and consistency throughout.
  • Support the Creative Director on team initiatives, workflows, and special assignments.

  • Develop innovative and effective design solutions under tight timelines, particularly in live and breaking news environments.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in broadcast and/or digital news graphics.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Motion Graphics, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong foundation in typography, layout, color theory, composition, and animation.
  • Expert-level proficiency in:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)
    • 3D software (Cinema 4D or Blender) and rendering tools (Redshift or equivalent)
    • Figma and Adobe XD
  • Expertise in the design and execution of 3D motion graphics, from style frames through final compositing for broadcast.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Firefly and AI-driven generative tools, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance creative workflows and content development.
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, and rendering workflows.
  • Strong motion design skills, including timing, easing, camera movement, and depth.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without compromising standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to clearly present creative ideas.
  • Required to work flexible hours, including nights and last-minute schedule changes in a 24/7 production environment.
