TribalVision

Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW

TribalVision is a mid-market digital marketing agency with a unique differentiator in demand generation marketing services. The Company provides a true turnkey outsourced suite of marketing capabilities on a monthly retainer basis, including SEO/SEM, lead generation, PPC, social media marketing, marketing automation, asset development, and branding.

TribalVision evolves beyond the traditional marketing agency because we are responsible for implementing the marketing strategy we have written. This sense of ownership is critical to driving the results, revenue, and profitability that client strategies are designed to generate. We go beyond simply connecting clients with intangible ‘creative genius’-we emphasize actionable data and tangible results.

This role is flexible/hybrid in MA/RI/CT. Client Services team members may need to come into the office or visit clients for meetings.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Account Manager is responsible for owning and growing client relationships while ensuring the successful delivery of marketing programs.

Depending on the account, the Account Manager may independently lead the client relationship or partner with senior Client Services leadership on larger, more complex engagements. This role serves as the bridge between the client and TribalVision's internal teams, ensuring client goals are understood, work is delivered on time and within scope, and opportunities to strengthen and expand the relationship are proactively identified.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, commercially minded, and comfortable balancing relationship management, strategic thinking, project oversight, and financial accountability across multiple accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship & Account Leadership

  • Serve as the day-to-day relationship owner for assigned clients, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Independently lead assigned accounts while also supporting senior Client Services leaders on larger or more complex engagements.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, industry, customers, competitive landscape, marketing strategy, and overall business objectives.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, status updates, and ongoing communications.
  • Proactively communicate progress, challenges, recommendations, and next steps to clients.
  • Identify potential client concerns or relationship risks early and work with senior leadership to address them before they escalate.
  • Serve as an internal client advocate while balancing client needs with agency resources, scope, and business objectives.

Account Growth & Retention

  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen and expand client relationships based on evolving business and marketing needs.
  • Maintain an understanding of TribalVision's full suite of services and capabilities in order to connect clients with relevant agency expertise.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and partner with senior leadership to develop recommendations, proposals, and expanded scopes of work.
  • Support client renewals and ongoing account planning.
  • Help drive client retention by consistently demonstrating value, anticipating needs, and maintaining strong relationships.

Project & Team Management

  • Serve as the primary internal owner for assigned accounts, ensuring internal teams understand client objectives, priorities, expectations, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate effectively with strategy, creative, content, paid media, SEO, social, marketing technology, and other internal specialists.
  • Establish clear priorities, action items, owners, and deadlines following client and internal meetings.
  • Ensure projects and deliverables progress according to agreed-upon timelines and proactively address potential roadblocks.
  • Review client-facing deliverables for quality, strategic alignment, and readiness before delivery.
  • Manage multiple accounts, projects, deadlines, and internal workstreams simultaneously.
  • Maintain accurate project and task information within Asana and other agency systems.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience

  • 3-5 years of Account Management experience
  • Marketing agency experience is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience

How you work

  • A proactive, ownership-minded professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
  • Takes ownership and follows through without needing constant direction.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented; sees what needs to happen and helps move it forward.
  • Collaborative and low-ego, willing to lead when needed and support others when appropriate.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt as client needs and priorities evolve.
  • Naturally curious and motivated to understand clients’ businesses, not just their marketing programs.
  • Builds trust quickly and communicates with confidence, professionalism, and good judgment.
  • Brings a growth mindset and looks for ways to make client relationships and agency processes better.
  • Calm under pressure and able to navigate competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • Receptive to feedback and equally comfortable providing thoughtful, constructive feedback.
  • Brings positive energy, accountability, and a genuine desire to contribute to the success of the broader team.
This role is flexible/hybrid in MA/RI/CT. Client Services team members may need to come into the office or visit clients for meetings.
