We are looking for a General Production Worker to join our 100% EMPLOYEE-OWNED team.

Shift: Monday - Thursday (2:30pm - 1am)

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Physical - Capable of lifting 40 lbs. safely or with assistance.
  • Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Working Hours - Full-time Employment (40+hrs/week)
  • Personal Traits - Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow direction and or work independently, able to multi-task and trouble shoot.
  • Good visual acuity needed to inspect parts.
  • Punctual and safe work habits.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Timely completion of job functions as trained. Responsible for ensuring all items inspected adhere to the appropriate specification before they are shipped to the customer. Adhere to Quality Management Systems. Authorized to operate company forklift if trained. Responsible for producing quality workmanship, which meets or exceeds requirements.

  • Follow work instructions and understand department procedures as specified by the supervisor.
  • Assemble or process parts as instructed within expected parameters.
  • Operate and maintain equipment as trained.
  • Responsible for material handling and organization of parts for the department.
  • Perform final inspection and packaging of assigned product in conformance with specifications and meet daily required production assignments.
  • Possess an understanding of customer's aesthetic requirements and apply these requirements in the inspection process.
  • Audit of materials and/or production parts before delivery to next operation area.
  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by working with department supervisor and department lead.
  • Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively to other individuals in the department as well as other departments.
  • Complete task independently from job-list, with some supervision.
  • Follow and execute Quality Management System procedures including, instructions on job travelers and control plan per procedures.
  • Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
  • Log nonconforming and scrap material in VISTA as instructed.
  • Maintain neat and clean work area.
  • Assist in monthly inventory process.
  • Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possess basic math and reading skills.Possess ability to read and use tape measure and caliper if trained.
  • Ability to visually inspect parts.

Education and Experience

  • Manufacturing shop experience preferred.
