Job description

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented General Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be on the front lines of fabricating our high-quality parts, ensuring they are built to precise specifications, packaged correctly, and ready for our dealers and customers worldwide. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, have a strong eye for detail, and want to be part of an exciting industry, we want to hear from you!


  • Machine Operation & Fabrication: Safely operate specialized fabrication machinery and use hand tools to press, cut, coat, or mold high-performance mechanical gaskets and engine components according to specified work instructions.
  • Machinery & Equipment Operated: Gain hands-on experience and daily operation with:
    • Stamping Presses and Metal Sheers for precise material fabrication.
    • Industrial Adhesives & Silicone application equipment.
    • Paint and industrial coating stations.
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct visual and physical inspections of finished parts to check for defects, correct dimensions, and overall quality, ensuring every item meets Athena's strict standards.
  • Packaging & Kitting: Accurately count, organize, and package complete kits (like top-end piston kits or full gasket sets) into boxes with correct retail labeling for inventory or shipping.
  • Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with facility safety protocols (5S). Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Core Skills: Proficiency with stamping and metal stamping processes is highly valued.
  • Measurement Skills: Familiarity with both metric and standard measurement systems is required. Must have the ability to accurately measure materials using a standard tape measure.
  • Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, metal fabrication, production, or warehouse environments is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic.
  • Equipment Comfort: Comfort or experience working around heavy machinery (presses/sheers) or handling industrial chemicals (adhesives, paints, and silicones) safely with proper PPE.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to read and follow basic standard operating procedures (SOPs), measurements, or written work instructions.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods during a shift, perform repetitive fabrication tasks, and comfortably lift up to 40–50 lbs.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and a dependable attitude—showing up on time and working well with your shift team matters to us.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent baseline preferred.
