Job description

MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate located in Norwich, CT. Our client is a Foods industry Leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability

Position Summary

Supports daily warehouse operations by performing a variety of functions, including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, inventory handling, and general warehouse support. Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trucks, selecting and packing customer orders, palletizing, stretch wrapping, labeling, scanning, and storing products in designated locations.

Assists with boxed beef, route truck, and will-call order processing while ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Works collaboratively with the Quality Assurance (QA) and accounting teams to process product returns, issue appropriate credits, and meet special product requirements. Maintains inventory accuracy by assisting with inventory discrepancy investigations and conducting item transfers as needed.

Completes daily inspections of powered warehouse equipment, reports safety concerns to management, and adheres to all company safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Performs warehouse housekeeping, freezer operations, product reboxing, and other assigned duties to support efficient warehouse operations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duration: 03 Months with possibility of extension

Location:  Norwich, CT 06360

Shift hours: Mon – Fri; 7:30 am - 4:00pm
