Job description

This role is within Lineage Foodservice Solutions (LFS), supporting a Last Mile Distribution Warehouse.

This is a 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor opportunity based in Attalla, AL. The schedule is Sunday through Friday, supporting a team of 10-15 associates.

In this role, you'll work closely with the General Manager and Operations leadership to drive daily performance, achieve key operational KPIs, and ensure the team delivers safe, efficient, and high-quality results.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who is flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while supporting both the team and the overall operation.

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Manage operational procedurestoincludetheincomingandoutgoing shipments, handletheorganizationofmerchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory
  • Plan production schedules and resource allocation forcompletion of job assignmentswhilekeeping time and production records
  • Track andsendreportsto designated plant personnel
  • Track warehouse activitiesincluding sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure availability of products

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with machinery and material handling equipment
  • Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization
  • Perform assigned projects asinstructed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

  • 2years warehouseor logisticsleadershipexperience
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of40lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
  • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
