Role:
  • General Orthopedic Surgery with support for subspecialty interests (e.g., Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma)
  • Surgical volume includes total joints, and cases requiring robotic assistance
  • Shared call rotation required to support the practice and community needs
  • Must be flexible to accommodate urgent/emergent cases and surgical add-ons
  • Practice supported by experienced APPs, x-ray techs, and clinical/admin staff
  • Outpatient-based, with access to state-of-the-art OR facilities
  • EPIC EMR across the system
Background Profile:
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, or similar
  • Experience with robot-assisted procedures and total joint replacements
  • Comfortable with call coverage and urgent/emergent orthopedic care
  • Eligible for a NC state Medical License
