General Physician

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate General Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to patients. The General Physician will be responsible for evaluating patients, diagnosing acute and chronic medical conditions, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing preventive healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and medical assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and medical conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment and care plans based on patient needs.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical investigations.
  • Manage common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, and cardiovascular conditions.
  • Provide preventive care, routine health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness counseling.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Identify patients requiring specialized care and coordinate referrals to appropriate specialists.
  • Respond to urgent medical situations and stabilize patients when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) system.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Follow established clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
  • Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the applicable state.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS certification may be required depending on the clinical setting.
  • Valid DEA registration when prescribing controlled medications is part of the role.
Required Experience
  • Experience providing primary or general medical care to adult patients.
  • Strong knowledge of acute and chronic disease management.
  • Experience with patient assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and preventive care.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation and clinical workflows.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a General Physician, Primary Care Physician, Family Medicine Physician, or Internal Medicine Physician.
  • Experience in outpatient clinics, hospitals, community health centers, or urgent care settings.
  • Experience managing patients with multiple chronic medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
