Job description

Job Description:

MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Operations Clerk located in Aurora, IL. Our client is a Foods industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability

Job Summary
An operations clerk handles office duties for a company's top executive.

Clerical duties involve setting up backhauls that drivers pick up and assisting with EZ Claims to consistently address and close them out. Assist with Will Call process, work closely with the Will Call Clerk daily. Assisting other clerks with completing end-of-day processes. Will be walking between docks in the cold area (35 degrees), so contractors are urged to always have a warm jacket on hand.

Operations clerks answer phones, greet clients, schedule appointments, type reports and letters written by chief officers, and handle an array of other related tasks.

In some instances, they might take care of light bookkeeping duties or post updates to the company website or sometimes even act as spokespersons for their supervisors, relaying important information to other employees, clients or the general public.
 

Qualification:

Must be technical skill set
Must be proficient Excel Skills
Good attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency
Blue Yonder, SAP exp preferred – will train on job
Good computer/technology skills ability to pick up new concepts
Hard worker with the ability to work in an occasionally chaotic environment
Good communication skills
High School Diploma or GED
1+ year experience
Food companies, distribution
 

Additional Information

Duration: 03 Months with possibility of extension

Location:  Aurora, IL 60502

Shift hours:  7/8am start-4:30pm end (8-hour work day, contractor can choose their start
time). M-F, some Saturdays
