General Manager - Game On Sports Bar
Are You the Ultimate Sports Fan?
At Game On, sports aren't just on the TVs-they're part of our DNA. We're looking for a General Manager who knows the difference between Opening Day and Game 7, understands why March Madness matters, and gets excited about a packed house before kickoff.

Position Summary
The General Manager is the Head Coach of Game On. You are responsible for every aspect of the restaurant's success-from creating an electric atmosphere on game days to building a winning team, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring every guest leaves wanting to come back for the next big game.
This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll be visible on the floor, coaching your team, engaging with guests, solving problems, and leading by example.
What You'll Do
Lead the Team
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop an exceptional management and hourly team.
  • Create a culture built on hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and fun.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings that energize and prepare the team.
  • Hold managers and staff accountable to performance standards.
  • Build future leaders through coaching and development.

Own the Guest Experience
  • Ensure every guest receives genuine, memorable hospitality.
  • Create an exciting game-day atmosphere before, during, and after every event.
  • Personally interact with guests and build relationships with regulars.
  • Resolve guest concerns immediately and professionally.
  • Maintain exceptional food, beverage, cleanliness, and service standards.

Drive the Business
  • Manage sales, labor, food cost, beverage cost, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports and create action plans.
  • Increase sales through local marketing, community involvement, and special events.
  • Maximize revenue during major sporting events.
  • Execute promotions flawlessly.

Operations Excellence
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance.
  • Maintain all restaurant equipment and facilities.
  • Manage inventory and purchasing.
  • Create efficient schedules that balance service and labor goals.
  • Ensure every shift runs smoothly and efficiently.

What We're Looking For
You Must:
  • Be a genuine sports fanatic who follows professional and college sports.

  • Have experience leading high-volume restaurants, sports bars, or hospitality operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
  • 2+ years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • High-volume restaurant or sports bar experience.
  • Strong P&L management experience.
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory, labor management, and financial reporting.
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • TIPS or alcohol certification (where required).
