McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest, has an opening for a Heavy Equipment Rental Coordinator position. in our Fenton, MO dealership.
Our Heavy Equipment Rental Coordinator is responsible for the efficient operation and control in marketing rental equipment. Promotes, administers, and manages rental activities with customers, in accordance with Company policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
• Assist customers to determine correct equipment size, mix and model
• Schedule/coordinate equipment hauling in support of customer's needs
• Manage rental customer services
• Maintain rental recordkeeping and inventory upkeep
• Recommend changes in rental fleet, equipment needs and competitive rates and promotional activities
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in industrial construction equipment and/or agricultural equipment experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred.
• Knowledge of construction machine operation and application and ability to describe key product features and benefits to customers.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and can communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the telephone effectively with both large and small groups in English.
• Must be skilled in customer service relations and act in a professional manner in all facets of customer service.
• Present neat, clean, professional appearance of self and use proper business etiquette.
