Position Description: Rental helper is responsible for the daily cleaning of the branch rental department, maintaining an orderly yard, cleaning of all units brought into the facility, receiving and shipping equipment, helping all departments in obtaining repair parts or materials needed, and other general rental department duties as directed by the Store/Department Manager. Position Responsibilities: Open/ close shop doors daily
General cleaning and organizing of rental shop.
Perform and record all preventive maintenance on rental units.Complete/Assist with any repairs that may be needed,Check in/out rental equipment and report any damage to management.Ensure equipment is cleaned and ready for customer pickup/delivery.
Work with management during yearly fleet inventory.
Load and unload rental equipment from rental trailers / customer trailers.
Assist with keeping rental yard clean and organized. Other duties assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Essential Requirements - Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
Knowledge of machines and tools used for repairs, maintenance and cleaning of facilities.Able to operate a forklift.
Able to communicate verbally and in written form.
Strong attention to detail
Able to process work with accuracy.
Basic electrical knowledge preferred, but not required.
Able to complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
Demonstrates openness to new procedures, technology and structure.
Able to work flexible schedule.
Basic computer skills required.
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record based upon company policy.
Education/Work Experience - High school diploma or GED required. At least one year of past experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and push a minimum of 50 lbs frequently. Employee must be able to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, stand and kneel for an extensive amount of time. Able to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. $15.00 - $20.00 Hourly
