Role Overview

The successful candidate will be a General Claims Adjuster for the Technical Services Team and will be working in a hybrid set up in Vancouver, British Columbia. They will be actively involved in evaluating multi-line claims with a focus on property (commercial and personal lines) claims through loss investigation, and be responsible for negotiating settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.

Annual base salary range is $87,000 to $124,000 annually. In addition to base salary, this role offers a professional bonus plan, car allowance and mileage reimbursement.ย

  • 5 or more years of functional and technical claims handling experience in large loss, commercial claims and liability
  • Ideal candidate will have a construction and property background specializing in project management, quantification and appraisal
  • Commercial policy interpretation and experience making recommendations to the market
  • Licensed or working towards CIP and/or FCIP designation
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
