Job description

AsaRecreation Attendantfor Broadmoor Public Golf Course, you will provide high quality customer service to our guests by assisting with tournament set-up/take down, event operations, daily operations, on course marshaling, operating driving range and maintaining power carts and push carts.

Reportingto the Team Lead I of outdoor services,yourresponsibilities will focusonday-to-day Golf course operations for patrons. Ensuring the facility is fit for guest usage.

This posting is for multiple, non-permanent hourly seasonal positions working up to 13 weeks

Positions are ranging from August - October 2026

Shifts range from 5:30am-11:00pm.  Eight-hour shifts and four-hour shifts are available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address patron concerns in a positive and polite manner  
  • Stage, drive, wash, inspect and charge Golf carts
  • Maintaining cleanliness of entire golf course (Bathrooms, Garbage's, general litter)
  • Operating range picker cart, washing balls and ensuring driving range is clean and operating
  • On course marshaling (maintaining pace of play, enforcing course rules)
  • Setting up tournaments, operating during tournaments and take down of tournaments.  
  • Filling sand buckets, ball washers and club washers as needed.
  • Working alongside of Maintenance team and Pro-shop team to achieve exceptional service standards.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact with facility guests in a positive manner  
  • Skill and ability to perform in stressful situations  
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt to changing needs  
  • Minimum completion of Grade 10
  • Daytime availability is an asset
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and statutory holiday shifts
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions, and to maintain concentration and alertness for extended periods  
  • Knowledge of OH&S, MSDS, and WHMIS Regulations  
  • Proficiency in the use of a variety of equipment, hand and power tools


Conditions of Employment:

  • Submission of Satisfactory Criminal Record Check  
  • Ability and willingness to perform various types of physical labour including moderate to heavy lifting (up to 23 kilograms), standing, bending, garbage's, cleaning, operating backpack blower
  • Driver's licence and submission of a 5-year Driver's Abstract with less than 7 demerits  
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification required prior to start date
  • Perform duties in inclement weather, with possible exposure to severe weather conditions
