Job description

Burford Golf Links is seeking a positive minded individual to be part of our dynamic golf team. The individual must be energetic, well organized and possess strong communication skills. The environment will be fun and fast paced with emphasis on customer experience and satisfaction.

Summary:
The Golf Shop Attendant provides excellent customer service by acting as the friendly first point of contact for golfers while supporting the overall golf operations experience.
Responsibilities:

  • Key duties include operating the POS system, managing reservations, balancing cash, merchandising, opening/closing procedures and communicate with management.
  • Greet customers entering the establishment. 
  • The ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally.
  • Answer customers' questions and offer direction. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Processing cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
  • Data Entry and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly golf shop area inside and outside. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Smart Serve certified required
  • Professional appearance and manners
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette and operations is often required.
  • First Aid certified is an asset
