2nd Swing is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager with a passion for golf to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the golf industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. General Managers generally work 40-45 hours a week in a varied schedule, working daytime, as well as evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 40 sales, fitting and operations team members
  • Deliver superior golfer engagement and build strong customer relationships
  • Streamline operations by effectively implementing and maintaining core company processes
  • Foster a positive, enthusiastic and collaborative work environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive golf experience, working in the industry or playing the game
  • Deep knowledge of golf equipment and industry
  • Demonstrated customer-centric approach
  • Outstanding communications skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of golfers and colleagues
  • Excellent time management, delegation, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Requirements:
  • 10 years previous retail management experience, leading large successful teams
  • 5 years of extensive involvement in the game
  • Fluent in golf - equipment, the industry and the game
