Job description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Skilled Maintenance Tech to join our Plant Facilities Department in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

  • Work Shift: Days
  • Hours: 8:30 to 5:00

What Your Day Looks Like: Assembling, installing, and / or repairing items based on specifications supplied via work order, referring concerns to Maintenance Supervisor for action.

As a Skilled Maintenance Tech, you will be:

  • Providing general maintenance assistance when possible at the direction of the supervisor.
  • Performing and servicing electrical panels, kitchen equipment, heating and cooling systems, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical equipment as ability and education permits.
  • Requisitions supplies, clearly designating items needed, the designating items needed, the department for which they will be charged, and reporting anticipated costs associated

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalence (GED).  

  • Experience: Preferred Five years experience in the electrical and refrigeration service trade
  • Skills: organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking
  • Licensure/Certification: N/A
  • Physical: require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking, which are an essential requirement of the job, as is pushing/pulling and lifting.
