Job description

Job Summary
Responsible for proper running of parts through machines in accordance to safety procedures.
Essential Functions
time :7am-3:30pm
Pay DOE 19.00-20.00
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  1. Performs typical press operations to support production with special attention to following ALL safety protocols.
  2. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the plant manager.
  3. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  4. Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
  5. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
  6. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of reading calipers, dial or digital.
  7. Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.
  8. Must be able to perform basic set-ups on these machines and the tools that are used in them.
