The General Laborer performs a variety of tasks to support sawmill operations, material flow, housekeeping, and production activities throughout the facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, assisting equipment operators and production personnel, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials while complying with all safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor duties in support of sawmill production operations
  • Assist machine operators and equipment operators as needed to maintain production flow
  • Sort, stack, band, and move lumber and wood products
  • Remove debris, wood waste, and other materials from production areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, walkways, and equipment
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or wood products environments preferred
