Job description

Shifts: 

  • 1st Shift: 5:00am- 3:00pm
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-1:00am

**Must be willing to work both shifts at times**

Compensation:

  • Starting pay: $16.00/hour (days)
  • Starting pay: $16.50/hour (afternoons) 
  • Weekly pay! 

Position Summary:

We are hiring General Laborers to support daily operations at a metals recycling facility. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment, including material handling, equipment operation, and general facility upkeep.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick and sort scrap metal from moving conveyor lines
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and bobcats (as trained/assigned)
  • Shovel materials and maintain clean, safe work areas
  • Assist with basic maintenance of plant equipment

Schedule & Availability:

  • Must be available to work either days or afternoons
  • 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts)
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for the duration of a 10-hour shift

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
