Job description

In need of a Carpenter to work on small to large-scale residential renovation projects, ranging from kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole home remodels. Hours are based on the changing needs of the business, though candidates can typically expect 30 to 40+ hours per week. Compensation from $30.00 up to $40.00 per hour for experienced applicants.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Rough carpentry, including floor, wall, and ceiling framing as well as subfloor repairs/replacement
  • Deck and porch construction
  • Finish carpentry, including doors, trim, windows, and cabinetry
  • Demolition, including walls, drywall, tile, flooring, and cabinetry
  • Ability to coordinate with other building trades
  • Ability to follow job scopes and detailed directions
  • Work well with other team members and contractors on job sites
  • Provide direction and instruction to other team members when required

The following skills, in addition to those above, are preferred but not required:

  • Hanging and/or finishing drywall
  • Flooring
  • Concrete work including flat work and foundations
  • Exterior framing (additions, infills, etc.)
  • Siding
  • Roofing
  • Windows
  • Minor Electrical (switches, outlets, light fixtures, etc.)
  • Minor Plumbing
