About the Client

A focused general aviation operation in Chesterfield, MO with a specialty in piston aircraft—including Cirrus—and a single non-negotiable standard: every aircraft that clears the hangar is safe, airworthy, and ready to perform. • Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package; details provided during the interview process

Job Summary

Front-line airframe and powerplant maintenance for a mechanic who does not cut corners. This role covers the full scope of GA piston aircraft upkeep—inspections, diagnosis, system servicing, and return-to-service documentation—carried out with the precision and regulatory discipline the work demands. Every aircraft, every time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform airframe and powerplant inspections in full compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer maintenance requirements

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain piston engines and all associated aircraft systems

  • Service electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and mechanical components across the fleet

  • Complete logbook entries, work orders, and all required FAA documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines on every work order without exception

  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to keep aircraft airworthy and flight operations on schedule

Minimum Requirements
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate in good standing

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience maintaining piston engine aircraft

Ideal Qualifications
  • Direct experience maintaining Cirrus aircraft
