We are seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Generator Technician to join our team and help deliver the exceptional service our customers have come to expect.

If you're an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and helping homeowners protect their homes during power outages, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential standby generators
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and annual service agreements
  • Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, and mechanical issues
  • Test generator systems and automatic transfer switches
  • Communicate repair recommendations and findings clearly with homeowners
  • Complete work orders, notes, and documentation accurately using company software
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and local electrical codes
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed
  • Collaborate with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical departments to provide complete home service solutions
Qualifications
  • Current generator certification preferred (Generac, Kohler, Cummins, Briggs & Stratton, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential standby generators
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with automatic transfer switches and control systems
  • Experience using ServiceTitan is a plus
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 21 + yrs old
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first attitude
