- An understanding of pulmonary physiology in health and disease as well as pulmonary medicine
- Experience interfacing with subjects with normal human pulmonary physiology and subjects with diseases that can be characterized as muco-obstructive, i.e. COPD, asthma or CF
- Excellent understanding of general medical and scientific, skills and abilities to apply expertise to novel experimental systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
