Job description

The Department of Math and Science at Oklahoma Wesleyan University invites applications for anticipated adjunct positions in the areas of Math and Science in support of its undergraduate General Education programs.

Function of Job
The person performs part-time teaching duties in order to provide an excellent learning experience for General Education students. Subject area related lab courses may also be part of the job assignment.

Supervision Given/Received
Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean of Math and Sciences.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must have an earned Master’s degree in the area of the subject to be taught (Math or Science) or related field with 18 hours of graduate work in the subject area. Candidates with an earned Bachelor’s degree with appropriate teaching experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with an earned terminal degree in the area of the subject to be taught or related field will be given priority. Higher education experience is desired, but not required, for this position.
