What You will Do:
The engagement involves a utility customer's ADMS/DERMS integration pilot and R&D initiative utilizing a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) lab environment. The objective of the project is to simulate and validate ADMS and DERMS integration use cases using both simulated and near real time distribution models before transitioning to full scale production deployment.
As part of this engagement, our responsibilities include:
  • Setting up the complete ADMS/DERMS environment
  • Installation and configuration of the required software platforms
  • Modeling both simulated and real utility distribution systems
  • Supporting integration between ADMS and DERMS platforms
  • Executing and validating utility use cases within the HIL environment
  • Working closely with the customer's R&D and engineering teams to ensure successful pilot execution

The project requires a highly experienced Power System Engineer and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in:
  • Utility distribution system modeling
  • ADMS and DERMS platforms
  • GE ADMS / GE modeling tools
  • Utility integration and simulation environments
  • DERMS use case implementation and validation

Pay Range: $2,00,000 to $3,00,000 a year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Schenectady, NY/Longmont, CO/ Greenville SC.
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 10% of travel is required.
