Job description

Interventional Cardiology (Non-Structural) Employed Position in Blue Ridge Highlands of Virginia

 

Position:

  • Physician led group with 45 physicians, 35 Advance Practice Providers, covering 14 hospitals
  • This location, would be joining 25 support personnel team, 3 APPs, 2 Interventional Cardiologist, 1 Invasive Cardiologist, and have specialty support if needed
  • Call is 1:4 though rarely called in, most is oversite of APPs
  • Cath Lab has 3 rooms, brand new, all GE and Phillips equipment, and devices like laser, Volcano, EKOS, CardioMEMs, Penumbra, IABP and Impella
  • Hospital averages 65 Caths per month, 40 Diagnostic, 25 interventional caths, and performs permanent Pacemaker and ICD insertions
  • Only 24/7 STEMI service in Southwest Virginia, approximately 80 per year
  • Outpatient clinic has 20 exam rooms, Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab site,, advance imaging, and recently remodeled and has a seasoned staff
  • Lab performs stress tests, Echo, EKG, ECG, TEEs, CT, Nuclear, Holter Monitors, Pacemakers and more

  • Group employment 2 years, Junior Partner, with Base salary
  • After year 2, Partner, base is wRVUs average for entire team, currently over $700,000
  • No wRVUs bonus structure, no stress on total production, this is a true team model
