Job description

Our Client, a rapidly growing specialty subcontractor in the multifamily construction sector, is seeking a Key Account Manager based in Cincinnati. This professional will own major GC relationships, manage construction documentation, and act as the primary liaison between estimating, operations, and customer teams. The ideal candidate blends relationship-building with technical construction workflow expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Own strategic GC relationships across the Ohio region.

• Manage cradle-to-grave project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

• Partner daily with the Cincinnati operations/manufacturing plant for coordination on materials, scheduling, and job readiness.

• Conduct jobsite visits, PM meetings, and ongoing customer engagement.

• Lead Lunch & Learns and targeted BD meetings with GCs and developers.

• Maintain accurate Salesforce data: pipeline, forecasting, job status, and notes.

• Drive forecasting accuracy for 10–12 month sales cycles.

• Support margin improvement strategies through disciplined sales process management.


Required Experience

• 3–7+ years in construction BD, project management, or account management.

• Background with General Contractors strongly preferred.

• Multifamily construction experience ideal.

• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, COs, scopes, drawings, and project workflows.

• Experience managing long sales cycles and forecasting accurately.

Core Strengths
