Job description

Scope of Work: The Operator will perform equipment operation, installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the electrical industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist by performing assigned tasks.
  • Operate equipment such as line trucks, bucket trucks, track trenchers, derricks, and backhoes.
  • Handle materials under the direct supervision of an assigned journeyperson.
  • Maintain all materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and orderly fashion.
  • Keep the work area clean at all times.
  • Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • License Requirements:
    • Class 'A' CDL.
    • Must be deemed insurable by the company's insurance carrier.
  • Education:
    • High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.
  • Experience:
    • Two or more years of construction equipment operation experience.
