Job description

Job Summary

Glenbrook Homeowners Association is seeking a reliable Gatehouse Attendant to ensure the safety and security of our upscale residential community. Stationed at the community entrance, you will serve as the primary point of contact for members, guests, and vendors. The ideal candidate balances vigilant security monitoring with exceptional customer service, spreading goodwill and hospitality to everyone entering the property.

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift Length: 6 to 10 hours per shift
  • Timing: Gate Hours 6am – 10pm,  7 days a week (hours may fluctuate depending on season)
  • Availability: Part Time, Seasonal, Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control & Security

  • Monitor entry: Verify credentials to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Issue passes: Process permits for guests, renters, and contractors.
  • Manage traffic: Maintain safe, orderly vehicle flow at the gate.
  • Enforce protocols: Follow site-specific operations and post orders.

Customer Service & Communication

  • Greet arrivals: Welcome community members and visitors courteously.
  • Support team: Collaborate with co-workers to improve operations.

Administration & Safety

  • Log activities: Complete daily tracking and incident reports.
  • Maintain space: Keep the gatehouse work area clean and organized.
  • Respond to emergencies: Follow established safety protocols and report hazards.
